Winery

After much anticipation, we completed our brand new beautiful 5000 sq. ft. winery facility here to compliment our 30 acre estate vineyard, just in time for our crush of 2005. It was an exciting process for all of us here at Agate Ridge and we are very proud of our new facility. With an environmentally friendly waste management system, a temperature and humidity controlled barrel room, state of the art laboratory and a new 26 hectoliter press that arrived from Italy, we began the first of many successful vintages with our harvest of 2005.

Brian DennerAgate Ridge Vineyard is proud to announce the appointment of Brian Denner to the position of Winemaker.

Brian graduated from the CSU Fresno Enology program in 2000. His experience with premium winemaking began working as Cellarmaster at Williams Selyem winery in Healdsburg, CA. He then worked as Assistant Winemaker/Enologo for Kingston Family Vineyards in Casablanca, Chile.

In 2004, he returned to California to work as Winemaker for Denner Vineyards in Paso Robles, CA. Brian took over as the Winemaker at Agate Ridge Vineyards during the summer of 2011, bringing many years of experience and a passion for working with Rhone varietals, Bordeaux varietals, Pinot noir, and Sauvignon blanc.
